Welcome!
Hello everyone,
UPDATE 2011 & 2012:
Welcome to my site!
Due to 400 steady clients, I’m currently not taking new clients or clients that haven’t seen me in the past 12 months. My goal is to continue to provide quality and safety over quantity. This does not pertain dogs who use Pride and Pedigree daycare service regularly. For P&P clients, please notify me so we can set up a date to combine with their daycare visit.I will continue to happily answer questions and update this site as a source of information.
Here are some impressions of the the workplace at Pride and Pedigree. I’m an independent contractor petstylist at this doggie daycare/dog training/boarding facility .
A typical day is grooming daycare/boarding Pride and Pedigree dogs as well as my own clients daily. I only provide private grooming appointments, one on one-cage free with no interruptions for up most safety. The daycare I work inside is a high social environment with occasional barkers of small and large dogs which may be too much sound for the skittish type.
Cage free grooming is a minority and not for everyone since pets must be picked up immediately after grooming and/or agreed pick up time (usually 1 or 2 hrs from appointment time). Read more facts about this process before making an appointment.
I provide private appointments Monday through Friday at various times. Weekends are reserved for dog shows and dog events.
Before & after photos in my portfolio , photos added daily.

Hi Vanessa! We are so bummed that your says website you aren’t taking any more clients.
We have a little Mi Ki that is looking for a soft touch and a cute haircut. Is there anyone else in the East Bay that you would recommend?

The closest cage free groomer to me is Paws and Claws in Oakland. I hear Heather is top notch. Yelp is another way to find well liked groomers.

Hi Vanessa,
This is my first time looking for a groomer for my mini schnauzer and was uper excited to find you on yelp. Really bummed to read that you’re not taking anymore clients. I’m a little hesitant to go one with mix reviews.

Totally understandable, go with your gut and also ask your vet as well as neighbors to find a good fit. Thanks for your comment.
